Commissioned by Southbank Centre twice for Africa Utopia, Cosmic Ashoke was a space where sound and visuals collided in an Afro-futuristic multi-artform experience. Travelling from an unknown past to unseen futures, Cosmic Ashoke explored Afro-futuristic poetry and music through unique visual and auditory experiences.
The events explored the tradition of the Griot to modern day black British futurism using masquerades made by our partner AFROFUTURES UK.
